Our Locations
Canterbury, South Island
We're very excited to be living up to our name and providing pilot training in both the North Island and now the South Island. Our instructor Chris is a South Islander at heart, and has taken the opportunity to start a satelite base from Springfield in Canterbury.
Just 35 minutes drive from Christchurch, our base near Springfield is located right at the bottom of the Southern Alps, a truly stunning part of the country and the ideal locaton for learning to fly helicopters. With access to different farms and high country stations, we have a varied and interesting training ground. Christchurch International Airport is just a short flight away for controlled airspace training and the Waimakariri River makes a great training spot for low-flying exercises.

Wanganui, North Island
Wanganui is the heart of aviation in New Zealand and has a rich history dating back to the 1960s. Hundreds if not thousands of New Zealands pilots, both fixed-wing and helicopter, were trainined in Wanganui and flight training continues to thrive at our airport.
Wanganui is centrally located in the lower North Island and is the only company offering flight training in the wider region. We have access to a number of great locations for flying and controlled airspace is just a few minutes away. With stunning coastlines and vast native bushland right at our doorstep, Wanganui is a truly beautiful location to fly. The early mornings with low-lying clouds in the valleys are our favourite time to fly!
