Night Rating

Allows you to fly within 25nm of a lit aerodrome at night. This rating allows you to provide frost protection

A sling rating is mandatory for a Commercial Pilot Licence. It allows you to carry underslung loads for hire or reward. Learning to sling dramatically increases your skills as a pilot

A sling rating can add to your Private Pilot Licence nicely, allowing you to carry underslung loads for private use

Mountain Flying

New Zealand has access to some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. We have bases at foothills of the biggest mountains in the North Island, including Mt Ruapehu, Mt Taranaki and the Ruahine Ranges. While mountain flying is included in the PPL-H and CPL-H syllabus, spending more time with our experienced instructors who fly in mountainous environments regularly will increase your understanding and skill set while flying in the most beautiful parts of our country.
